During the 1970s almost no singer/songwriter was as popular and as well known as the late John Denver. He had sold out concerts, a string of songs hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, he hosted the Grammy Awards, won Grammys, Emmys and was the CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1975, but what may be the strangest accomplishment was guest hosting on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
Here from 1977 is one of those guest host appearances with guest Carl Reiner and Valerie Harper Great and a little strange.
